Tammy Martin August 4, 1971 - August 13, 2016 Gray, GA- Tammy Martin and her unborn baby died Saturday morning due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Gray United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Taylor Corienne McCranie June 25, 1998 - August 19, 2016 Bonaire, GA- Taylor McCranie, 18, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 19, 2016. Taylor was born on June 25, 1998 in Dublin, Georgia and grew up in Chester. Prior to her ninth grade year, she moved to Warner Robins, where she began attending Westside Christian Academy. She later graduated with honors from Hopewell Academy. As a junior at Westside, she began dual enrollment classes. Taylor was able to begin her college career at Middle Georgia State University with multiple college credits, where she remained on the Dean's List. She was employed at Chick-fil-A on Highway 96 in Warner Robins. Southside Baptist Church of Kathleen was her church home. She was passionate about her faith and her family, and she was a bright light to all who knew her. Taylor cherished time with her loved ones above all else. Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved mother and step-father, Crystal and Scott McDaniel of Bonaire; brothers, Camden Collins and Hunter McDaniel, both of Bonaire; paternal grandmother, Paula McCranie of Sevierville, Tennessee; maternal grandparents, Alton and Janice Bryan of Chester; dad and step-mom, Eddie and Melissa McCranie of Eastman; aunts and uncles, Samantha McCranie of Sevierville, Tennessee, Kimberly and Randy Hall of Eastman, Rocky and Brittany Bryan of Bonaire, Melissa and Travis Castle of Warner Robins, Emily Howell of Byron and Shaun and Taylor McDaniel of New Albany, Indiana; step-grandparents, Kay and Glenn Howell and numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Gary Wayne Meeks July 6, 1956 - August 14, 2016 Macon, GA- Gary Meeks, age 60, passed away Sunday evening. Gary was born in Macon and was currently living at Crabapple Group Home. Gary was one of God's special angels. He loved balls, candy, dancing, music, television, and talking to his Aunt Myrtie on the telephone. He was preceded in death by his father, James Meeks; grandparents, James and Edna Wood, and Ralph and Nevada Weaver; and his "Daddy," Bud Cannon. He is survived by his mother, Florence Cannon of Byron; brother and sisters, Bill Weaver (Mary) of Tallahassee, Bobbi Daughtry (Thomas) of Byron, and Sherry Posey (Buddy) of Juliette; special aunt, Myrtie Ashley of Twiggs County; step-father, Bill Weaver (Sandy) of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his group home buddies, Robert, Henry, and Aubrey; and the group home staff, Ikea, Star, Candice, Linda, Joy, Shemencia, Briah, and Pam. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Union Chapel Evangelistic Church. Pastor Billy Lowe will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Frank Mills Toomsboro, Georgia- Frank Mills age 92 passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Voice of Truth Church with Rev. Terry Stark, Rev. Johnny Jackson and Rev. Phil Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Mills was a native and resident of Wilkinson County and was the retired owner of Mills General Merchandise Store for over 30 years. He was a former member of the Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners where he served as Chairman. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Hugh Allen and Almeta Criswell Mills and a brother Allen Mills. He was a member of Voice of Truth Church. Survivors include his wife Lucy Dominy Mills of Toomsboro, two sons, Hugh Mills (Andy) of Ivey and Chris Mills (Robin) of McIntyre and a daughter Dianne Martin of Irwinton, 5 grandchildren, Heath Mills (Dawn), Kevin Mills (Michelle), Leigh May (Jay), Brittany Mills and Jody Mills, 7 great grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, and Tyler Mills, Caine May, Christian Mills, Tommy Mills and Ethan Mills, and one great great grandchild Colton May. Monserret, Susan (Heenan) - Salt Lake City  
Susan (Heenan)Monserret 8/2/61 - 8/15/16 Salt Lake City, UT- Susan passed away peacefully on Monday after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her children, mother and loving husband. Susan was born in Champagne, IL. to Glenn & Margaret Irwin. She made her home in Macon, GA for 20+ years where she raised her four children. Susan retuned to school at Wesleyan College and graduated with a B.A. in English in 1999. She immediately started teaching high school literature and religion where she expanded the minds and touched the lives of so many of her students. She was a teacher at both Mount de Sales Academy and Woodfield Academy in Macon and for the last 6 years taught religion at Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, UT. Susan is survived my her husband Mitch Monserret; children Mary Brenna Barrineau, Terence Heenan, Shannon Arminio and Catie Mae Johnson; her 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; mother Margaret Irwin; brother Blake Irwin; sister Valerie Kessler; brother-in-law Kendall Kessler; other surviving members include her daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and her Monserret family. Susan is preceded in death by her father Glenn Irwin and sister-in-law Jamie Irwin. Services were held this weekend at Starks Funeral Parlor in Salt Lake City, UT. Susan's wishes were for donations to be made to Judge Memorial Catholic High School or The Huntsman Cancer Institute. Both places went above and beyond in care and support for Susan. Her family is eternally grateful to the staff of both places. Morrell, Maurice E. - Reynolds  
Maurice E. Morrell 02/21/1931 - 08/18/2016 Reynolds, GA- Funeral services for Maurice E. Morrell, 85, of Reynolds, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Taylor Mill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Morrell passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his residence. He attended Taylor Mill Baptist Church. He served in the Korean War in the US Army 101st Airborne. He retired from Bluebird Body Company after 35 years of service. He also served on the Reynolds Police Department for 10 years and was a Taylor County Deputy for several years. Mr. Morrell was a member of Fickling Masonic Lodge #129. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Rachel Morrell and a son, Ray Morrell. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Jean Nipper of Reynolds; two sons, Roy (Angela) Morrell of Reynolds and Mark "Coot" Morrell of Reynolds; one sister, Polly Crook of Reynolds; one brother, Gervis Morrell. Jr, of Macon County; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
