Wall, John Herschel - Eatonton  
John Herschel Wall Eatonton, Georgia- John Herschel Wall, 96, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 3:00pm in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Wall was born in Statham, Georgia and was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Day Wall. He served in the United States Army where he earned a Good Conduct Medal and European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. Mr. Wall worked for Norfolk Southern as a mail bus driver and was a member of Lakeside Community Church. He was a Mason and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his caregiver and longtime friend, Wanda Jane Kendrick; several cousins; a niece and a nephew. Visit www.maconmp.com to express condolences. Kathy Shumate Westbrooks Nov. 18, 1953 - May 26, 2016 Eastman, GA- Kathy Shumate Westbrooks of Warner Robins died Thursday, May 26. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Hardy-Towns Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday one hour prior to the service. She is survived by her mother, Mary Graham Shumate; children, Michelle Murphy (John, Melissa McMillian (Terry), Michael Wright (Paula), and Mark Wright (Amanda); siblings, Rev. Kary B. Shumate Jr. (Pamela), John Shumate (Barbara), and Sharon Walizer; twelve grand children and Five great grandchildren; special friends, Robert Cannon and Danny Harris. She was preceded in death by her father, Kary B. Whaley, Joanne G. - Unadilla  
Joanne G. Whaley October 15, 1935 - May 28, 2016 Unadilla, GA- Joanne G. Whaley, 80, of Unadilla, died Saturday at Taylor Regional Hospital. Born in Perry, she was the daughter of the late Lee Buren Gray and Emma Amanda Kitchens Gray. She retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. "Chuck" Whaley. She was a wonderful wife and mother. Survivors: sons, Curtis Wells of Jacksonville, FL and Randy Whaley of Morgantown, WV; daughter, Lori Whaley Pattersonof Newburgh, NY; sister, Evelyn Todd of Hawkinsville; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday in Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment in Browndale Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Vicky White 03/06/1952 - 05/23/2016 Mauk, GA- Graveside services for Vicky White, 64, of Mauk, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Pine Level Cemetery. Vicky passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016. She was a member of Howard United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Thurman Currington and step-mother, Elizabeth "Liz" Currington and a sister, Shirley Lemaster. Survivors include her husband, Verbon White of Mauk; her mother, Betty Russell Scott of Mauk; nine daughters, Beverly Frederick (Jeff) of Fort Valley; Nicky Willis (Clayton) of Butler, Beth White of Mauk, Nicole White (Will) of Butler, Joy Collins of Cartersville, Cathy McIntosh (Marcus) of Carrollton, Loretta Way of Carrollton, Victoria Way of Grantville and Kimberly Taunton of Mauk; three sons, Greg White (Tammy) of Wedowe, AL, Darnell White of Carrollton and Kevin Taunton of Mauk; three brothers, Bill Stringfellow (Judy) of Columbus, Frank Stringfellow (Dottie) of Americus and Lewis Currington of California; three sisters, Carol Wellborn of Perry, Sue Johnson of Oregon; Georgia Snipes of Texas; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and foster children; several nieces and nephews.
