Mary Ann Murner Anzures September 25, 1957 - July 28, 2015 New Port Richey, FL- Mary Ann Murner Anzures went home to the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 after a brief illness. Ann was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was 57 years old. Ann was born on September 25, 1957 in Macon, Georgia and moved to Bonaire in 1962 with her parents, Lewis and Jeneal Murner. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Bonaire and graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1975. Ann was a talented pianist and vocalist. After working for many years, she enjoyed being a homemaker. She was married to her loving husband, Dino Anzures, for 28 years. They lived in Georgia, California, Indiana, New Hampshire, and moved less than 3 short months ago to New Port Richey, Florida, fulfilling her dream of living at the beach. Ann was a loving mother to her three children and adored her six grandchildren. She had a very loving and giving spirit and always made other people feel special with encouraging words, sweet cards and unique gifts that she showered on those around her. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis A. Murner. Ann's memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her loving and devoted husband, Dino Anzures; sons, Brook Hale (Kim) of Fishers, Indiana and Shay Hale of Dover, New Hampshire; daughter, Amanda Anzures of Dover, New Hampshire; stepsons, Tony Anzures of Ogden, Utah and Lee Anzures (Kami) of Salt Lake City, Utah; mother, Jeneal Murner of Bonaire; sister, Carol Beatty (Bill) of Bonaire; grandsons, Noah and Zion Hale of Fishers, Indiana; granddaughters, Kerra, Leilah, and Cameron Hale of Fishers, Indiana, and Aliyah Hale of Dover, New Hampshire; step-granddaughter, Pearl Anzures of Salt Lake City, Utah; nephews, Justin Beatty (Callie) of Warner Robins and Jordan Beatty of Bonaire; and niece, Jenna Beatty of Bonaire. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Dr. Owen Bozeman officiating. Baisden, Doug - Gordon  
Doug Baisden 7/5/1970 - 8/1/2015 Gordon, GA- Mr. Douglas Shepherd Baisden " Doug", age 45, passed away on August 1, 2015. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 4PM in the First Baptist Church of Gordon. Interment will follow at Ramah Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Williams White Columns Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 7 PM. Doug was a lifelong native and resident of Gordon. He was the grandson of the late Myrtle and Jack Baisden and the late Carl and Grace Shepherd. He enjoyed cars and worked as a designer for Industrial Machine and Welding. Doug was a member of the Wilkinson County Chamber of Commerce, the Ironhead Motorcycle Club, and the Gordon First Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother- Marjo Shepherd Baisden of Gordon, Father- John (Marsha) Baisden of Gordon, Sister- Kelli (Ricky) Starley of McIntyre, Nephews- James Starley, Jacob Starley, Jonas Starley, Niece- Jorjann Starley, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Herbert R. (Herb)Bass, Jr. Macon, GA- Herbert R. (Herb) Bass, Jr., 61, passed away on Friday, July 30 in a local hospital. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, August 2 at 2 p.m. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with the Reverend David Collingsworth officiating. A visitation with reception will take place at the funeral home from 12 noon until service time. Herb was born in Macon to Martha Ann Wilder Bass and Herbert Respress Bass, Sr. He was retired from the Southern Company where he was an analyst. He was a loving husband, father and son. Blash, Georgia Mae Whitfield - Cochran  
Georgia Mae Whitfield Blash October 9, 1948 - July 25, 2015 Cochran, GA- Georgia Mae Whitfield Blash, 66, departed this life on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her home. A homegoing celebration will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm at her beloved church, The Lighthouse Holiness Church in Cochran, Georgia, with Elder Cannie Lester officiating and interment in The Lighthouse Holiness Church Cemetery. Georgia Mae was born to the parentage of the late Cherrie Mae Farrow Whitfield and George Edward Whitfield on October 9, 1948 in Cochran. She was educated in the Bleckley County School System and was a very devoted member of The Lighthouse Holiness Church. Sister Blash, as many would call her, worked as a dietician at the Riverside Clinic, Bibb Mills, Co., and the Bleckley County Memorial Hospital as a cook in her early years. However, her most enjoyable job was being a homemaker. She really loved taking care of her family and cooking for them each and every day. Georgia Mae and her husband raised their five children to adulthood, then became foster parents to from twenty to twenty-five children. That's the kind of love she had in her heart. So many still called her "mom". She leaves to cherish her memories a very loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Johnnie "Bobby" Blash, Jr.; a sister, Shirley (Leonard) Ashley, eight children: Reginald Blash, Donald Blash (deceased), Johnny (Lisa) Blash, Scottie (Gwen) Blash, Sherrie (Darryl) Williams, Angela Blash Fleming, Keith Blash, and Dendrell Blash. She also leaves seven grandchildren: Brittany (Nick) Kruger, Jonathan Blash, Alexis/Akira/Asia Fleming, Nick and Cami Blash, three great-grandchildren; seven loveable sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will be at 266 Pebble Hill Road daily and will receive friends on Wednesday from 6pm til 8pm at Rollins Friendly Funeral Home in Cochran. William Sherod Boone Milledgeville, GA- William Sherod (Billy) Boone age 67 passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. Billy's long and courageous fight with cancer ended at home surrounded by his loved ones. Celebration of life services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 1, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Father David Probst officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery. Mr. Boone was a native and resident of Milledgeville. He was a retired Warden with the Department of Corrections. He was a graduate of GMC High School and GMC Jr. College and Georgia College. He was a previous member of the Georgia Peace Officers Association and an Executive Board Member of the GMC Junior College Football Booster Club from 1992-2000. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Sherod and Evelyn Harrison Boone. He was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Jean Brantley Boone of Milledgeville, his children Brent Sherod Boone (Ofelia) of Milledgeville, Ashley Boone Snider (Chris) of Pooler and Ann B. Guyton of Milledgeville,, a sister Judy Price (Charles) of Milledgeville, four grandchildren, Zach, Isabel, Kayla and Kristin, two nieces Pamela Howard and Suzanne Pittman, nephew Joey Ashcraft, sister-in-law Jo Ashcraft of Wrightsville, a God-daughter Josie Nunn and his faithful companion Mister Munson. A special thanks to his dedicated care givers, Melvin Reeves and Felton Green. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
