Davis, Gladys Stubbs - Macon
It was a gloomy Sunday evening as you slowly slept away. We knew you were leaving, but only God knew the time or day. We didn't have any regrets or ask the question "Why". Because we had an opportunity to tell you "Goodbye". We knew in our hearts life would never be the same, though you were finally free from all hurt and pain. You were the only Mother we will ever have and because of that we felt alone; but we didn't dare to think of complaining because it was God that called you home. So we will miss you on this day when you would open your cards and read every word and the way we would sit around and joke and your laughter could be heard. Our memories of you will get us through as we go from day to day. This first Mothers Day without you. You are MISSED more than any words could ever say. Dearly and Lovingly Missed by The Davis Family
