James M. Lothridge Sr. -CENTERVILLE, GA - CMSgt. James M. Lothridge Sr., USAF (Ret.), 80, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 3P.M. in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. The Reverend Joe Phillips will officiate. -Mr. Lothridge was born March 14, 1931 in Goldville, South Carolina to the late Eugene and Dorothy Lothridge. Mr. Lothridge was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He served our country proudly in the United States Air Force for twenty-one years during the Korean Conflict. After retiring from the Air Force, he went to work for the United States Postal Service where he was a letter carrier for seventeen years. He was also a stamp collector. -Survivors include loving wife of 62 years, Margaret Linder Lothridge of Centerville; Children, Rhonda Godfrey (Tommy) of Warner Robins, James M. Lothridge Jr. (Marie) of Warner Robins, David Lothridge of Centerville; one sister Elizabeth Smith (Ken) of South Carolina; two Grandchildren, David Godfrey of Warner Robins, April Forbes (Jason) of Warner Robins; four Great Grandchildren, Amber, Blake, Tyler, Olivia Forbes of Warner Robins. -Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
