Josephine Conway Obituary
Suitland, MD- Funeral services for Josephine Conway will be held at 12 noon Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Temple of God Apostolic Church, 3015 Churchill Street, Macon. Overseer Gregory Taylor will officiate. Interment services will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Ms. Conway, 78, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 in Suitland, Md.
She is survived by her sister and brothers, Helen Jackson, Joseph Jackson and Overseer Robert (Josephine) Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Devoted friends, Freddie (Geneva) Whiteside and Dorothy Prout.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

I worked with Josie for over 10 years at USAID. I recall her as being one of the kindest ladies who I ever worked with. She felt strongly about family. She was always willing to help you if you didn't understand the work or procedures. I recall once I got sick at work, and she was kind enough to take me home. I think about her all the time. I cannot believe that she's been gone since 2013.

I just got the news about Josephine's transition. Although we were no longer in touch, it is almost like yesterday that we talked and chatted about a variety of things when we worked together.
Jose was one of the nicest and gentlest ladies in the office. The photo used here really radiates her kind spirit. I missed her when she retired and now that I have been informed of her passing, I miss her all the more because I know that I'm not going to run into her while shopping or being out and about.
