Warner Robins, GA- Allen Cameron George Crowe, 90, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 in Warner Robins, GA. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2013 in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Searcy officiating. Inurnment will be private. Allen was born on August 8th, 1922 to the late Mr. John and Mrs. Isabella (Mathews) Crowe in Camden, New Jersey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John E. Crowe. He lived most of his life in New Jersey, growing up in Gloucester City and spending his adult life in Haddon Heights. He moved to Warner Robins four years ago. Allen worked for Curtis Publishing Company and later PNC Bank of NJ. Allen was a versatile musician and he enjoyed playing the trombone, piano and organ. Allen was a proud United States Army
veteran serving in the Pacific Theater during World War Two. For his service he was awarded the Philippine Liberation Medal. Allen is survived by his loving wife of sixty-seven years Alberta (Corcoran) Crowe, daughters Joyce (Tom) Turowski of San Francisco, CA; Alice (Chuck) Smith of Centerville, GA, grandsons Cameron Smith of New York City, New York, Travis Smith of Lauderdale-By-The Sea, FL and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road, NE, #M20, Atlanta, GA 30326. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
