ATLANTA, GA- David Lehman Brunson, 82, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was born on July 29, 1931 in Savannah, GA to Henry Lehman and Elizabeth Remley Brunson.
After high school, Dave attended the University of Georgia
in Athens, GA, but left there in 1950 to join the Air Force. He later began work with Kraft Foods and continued with them until his retirement. Most of his adult life was spent in Macon, GA where he was an active member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, and belonged to the Interest Sunday school class. He and his wife Jackie lived in Bolingbroke, GA until they relocated to Atlanta in 2009.
Dave is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Jackie (Jacquelyn Coppedge Brunson) of Atlanta, GA; his son Randy of Apalachicola, FL/Atlanta, GA; his daughter Pam (husband Carey) Kugler of Charlotte, NC; his daughter Nancy Gass of Marietta, GA; his son Andy (wife Mie) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren Michael (wife Angela) Gass, David (wife Natalie) Gass; Christopher and Matthew Kugler; Sean and Ken Brunson; and his great-grandchildren Charlotte and Madeline Gass.
A graveside service will be held at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive SW, Atlanta, GA at 11:00 am on Monday, September 2, 2013.
