Warner Robins, GA- Stephanie Elise Durden, 27, entered into rest on Saturday, February 16, 2013.
Stephanie was born on September 10, 1985 in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Stephanie was a 2004 graduate of Warner Robins High School and attended Georgia Military College where she was studying nursing. She enjoyed shopping, photography, painting, traveling, music, and loved to sing karaoke. Her smile would light up a room. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Stoney Durden, Samuel and Ruth Miles, and Hugh and Estelle Barrentine.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her mother and stepfather, Lisa Miles Barrentine (Andy), father, Douglas W. Durden; son, Jesse Mettendorf, Jr., all of Warner Robins; sisters, Kristi Flanders, Fort Valley; Lacy Landis (Brandon), Warner Robins; grandmother and step grandfather, Ceil and Paul Buchanan, Warner Robins; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, February 20, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Stephanie E. Durden Memorial Fund, 62 Hamilton Woods Court, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
