I still here you looking at me and saying "our grandans heart" I remember when you kissed me on the cheek and said I love you for the last time. I never imagined it would be the last. Then the king said to his servants, “Do you not know that a prince and a great man has fallen this day in Israel?" 2 Sam 3:38. Gary was an inspiration and a motivator for the Kingdom of God. His passion was to share Christ and show His love. We will miss this great man of God but we are so blessed to have known him. Our prayers and love are with you.

I have known the Willis family most of my life. Brother Gary was the pastor of my grandmothers church and where I attended numerous times. I grew up knowing his daughters. He preached both of my grandparents funerals. Before my grandmother died he was at the hospital every time I went.He was already there when they called to tell me she passed. He was always a friendly loving and compassionate man.He was a man of God and he cherished his family. I pray his family will find peace and comfort, cherish their memories and look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

Dear Willis Family

Our hearts are breaking for your family and also for Calvary's church family. However, we know that this world's loss is absolutely heaven's gain!

My Aunt Betty Stokes and cousin John loved Brother Garry so much and in the time they have been members there, have grown very close to him. He was that kind of a person; one that was easy to get to know and easy to love. He fought a good fight and without a doubt finished well for our Lord and Savior.

May it be a blessing to his family to know that people have admired him so dearly on this side of heaven!

Prayerfully,
