Mr. Sround was such a talented man! He drew a picture of me in the early 1970's when I was a little girl. It is a treasured, wonderful drawing that I have hanging in my home today. I was very sad to hear of his passing and wanted to offer my condolences to the family.

Wifred lived an artist's life - full of vibrant colors and soulful music. We looked forward to all the social gatherings with family and friends whenever we arrived in Macon, or on the Maryland shoreline. His life was truly a gift from God because he showed his talents very early in childhood. His artistry became more evident when he attended Morehouse College. After college, he returned to Macon where he has continuosly demonstrated his talents and never stopped contributing to the city that he loved. Light and Love Always,

To Mrs. Mary, Lisa, Crystal & Randall-
God saw you (Mr. Stroud) getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around him and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes you watched him, and saw him pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
