Aunt JuJu, as I sit here in the mom's house, there is only the sound of little paws tip-toeing around; I look at Creamy and think of you. It has not yet been 24 hours and I miss you so much. I catch myself thinking "I wonder what aunt JuJu is doing". I think back on how hard you fought the breast cancer and even on some of your worst days you wouldn't let us wait on you hand and foot, like we wanted to, you would smile and say, "I'm ok, I'll get it, I need to get up and move around". Even though you we in such pain, you fought hard and you smiled through it all, reassuring us that "it'll be ok". I will treasure our times together, whether we were piled up on the couch at mom's or our "lunch/cancer center date", we always had a good time. I will never forgot stepping into the hallway at mom's, hearing your bubbly voice call my name and seeing your arms stretched out for a hug, as you made your way to the living room to see everyone, only hours after we thought we were losing you. You have inspired me in ways that I will never be able to express, your kindness, your love, your sweet spirit and determined attitude will never be forgotten. I can only hope that if I am ever to face anything like you had to face, that I can do it with the strength and grace, that you did.

DiAnne & Family: What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why she left this earth so soon, or why she left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived. And that her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Jeff,Carla, and family. Losing someone who is a part of you, especially when it seems it it way before their time, has to be one of the hardest things that we go through. I know these past few weeks have been really hard on you all, and I am sorry that cancer touched your lives.Be thankful that God allowed you these last few days together. It is never easy, even when you know what you are facing or when they are taken suddenly without the chance to say goodbye. She left here knowing she was loved by so many and my heart goes out to you all. May God hold you close tomorrow
