I'm sitting here the night before your physical body is laid to rest racking my brain and mind around the thought of you not being around for me to laugh with, talk with, and listen to. When I met you in Woodcreek, I knew there was something special about you. You didn't act like, talk like, t nor move around like others. You set yourself apart by how you carried yourself. You were a man of your word, a provider, a protector, a business and lyrical genius, a great friend, awesome brother and uncle, and from talking to your mom at your sisters wedding you were an Angel already in her eyes. Now you have the wings to match the look.
I still haven't been able to bring myself to tell my kids you're gone because I know how much it would break their hearts. You cared about their passion and goals when others wouldn't take them serious. We were talking about you coming down for Mardi Gras this coming year since it's gonna be on your 30th Birthday.
I'm down here in Mississippi breaking on the inside cause I can't come and tell you goodbye in person. But without a doubt just know as soon as I touch down in Macon again the first person I'm visiting is gonna be you! Rest In Power My Friend and Young King
