Herbert Baer -HOLUALOA, HI - Herbert "Buzz" Paige Baer, 74, of Holualoa, died January 25 at his residence. Born April 7, 1937 in Macon, Georgia, he retired as a USMC major and served during the Vietnam war. -A service and interment of ashes was held 9:00 a.m. Friday, February 3 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Memorial donations may he sent to Hospice of Kona. P.O. Box 4130, Kailua Kona, Hawaii 96745. -He is survived by wife, Natalie Baer of Holualoa; daughter, Bess Baer of Santa Barbara, California; stepson, Mark (Vanesa) Norman of Holualoa; stepdaughter, Barbara (Jeff) Weppler of Alexandria, Virginia; brother, Robert Baer of St. Simon's Island, Georgia; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. -Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii.
