Thomas Earl Golden, Jr
Macon, GA- A Memorial service for Thomas Golden will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, October 19, 2013 in High Point Church, 2693 Hollis Rd., Macon. Pastor Don Van Hoozier will officiate and Reverend Charles Carter will serve as the Eulogist. Mr. Golden, 63, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013, after an extended illness.
A Macon native, Mr. Golden was born to the parentage of the late Thomas Golden, Sr. and Peggy (Golden) Bickley. He served with honor and distinction in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of High Point Church where he served on the Deacon Board and taught Sunday school.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Golden; five children, Nancy Freidhof (Patrick), David Golden (Alanna), Thomas Golden, III (Tracy), Adam Golden and Noah Golden; five sisters; one brother; fourteen grandchildren; one grandchild, Airman Rebbecka Freidhof currently serving in Saudi Arabia.
The family will receive friends at 3216 Ridge Ave., Macon
