Betty Lewis Dryden
October 24, 1934 - March 4, 2014
Bonaire, GA- Betty Lewis Dryden, 79, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 4, 2014.
Betty was born on October 24, 1934 in Laurel Hill, North Carolina to the late William Clyde and Mary Louise Lewis. She was a member of Bonaire United Methodist Church. A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family and her beloved dog, Monkey. She also enjoyed volunteering at the NCO Club, Senior Citizens Center, and various Nursing Homes with her many beloved friends. Her parents, and her husband, J. Owen "Doc" Dryden; siblings, Mary NeSmith, Sherry Hales, William Lewis, and Glenda Hall, all preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Sam Needleman, and her precious grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, and Jared Needleman, all of Bonaire; sister, Fay Sheppard, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Tabitha Martinez (Ben), Colorado; best friend, Carolyn Handley; her beloved nieces and nephews, and her fur baby, Monkey.
Visitation will be Friday, March 7, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
