Perry , GA- Alton "Blake" Walston passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. A memorial service will be held on April 5, 2014 at 4:00PM at the Perry RC Flyers Club field 2235 U.S. 41 North Perry GA 31069. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Heart of GA Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Dr., Perry, GA 31069 or Perry R.C. Flyers, 114 Cardinal Ave, Perry, GA 31069.
Mr. Walston was born on November 13, 1942 in Baltimore MD to the late George and Nellie Walston. He was an aircraft mechanic with Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Walston attended Houston Christian Fellowship. He was a Mason and a past president of the Perry R.C. Flyers. Mr. Walston was also a member of Scottish Rites.
Survivors include- his wife of 52 years, Frankie Walston of Perry; children, Bryan Walston of Perry, Susan Thompson of Perry; five grandchildren, Lee Wright, John Wright, Chase Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Layla Midyette; seven great grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.
