Danville, GA- Funeral Services for Hazel Griffin, 71, of Danville, who died Monday, April 28, 2014 at her residence, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Griffin was born in Bibb County, the daughter of the late William Edward Smith, Sr., and the widow of William "Bill" Griffin, Sr.. She lived in Bleckley County most of her life. She was a member of El Sharath Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include: Daughters Lisa (Bruce) Jordan of Lizella, Missy (Scott) Roberson of Dudley; Son, Bill (Rae) Griffin, Jr. of Cochran; mother, Pearl H. Smith of Cochran; brother Edward (Loretta) Smith, Jr. of Jones County; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will be at the Griffin residence on Griffin Road, Cary and will meet friends following the service.
Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
