Warner Robins, GA- Fannie Mae Lowery, 100, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday. Rev. Mike Slade will officiate.
Mrs. Lowery was born in Eastman, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Grover & Lydia Pearl (Harrell) Powell and her husband David Lowery (they were married for 71 years). She was a longtime faithful member of Second Baptist Church where she was a member of the XYZ senior group.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Bill Douglas of Albany, GA, grandson Jonathan & Wendy Douglas of Greensboro, NC, granddaughter Cara & Shannon Watson of Jonesborough, TN, great grandchildren Brooke Douglas, Kayla Douglas, Joel David Douglas, Tanner Watson and Laney Watson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Second Baptist Church Helping Hands & Helping Hearts Ministries at 2504 Moody Rd., Warner Robins, GA, 31088.
