Marian Torrance Dixon
Macon, Georgia- Marian Torrance Dixon, age 89, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 5, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with burial to follow at Camp Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Dixon was a native of Milledgeville and had made her home in Macon for many years. She was a retired civil service employee of Robins Air Force Base. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles Richard and Etta Claire Etheridge Torrance, her husband David Lindsey Dixon, and her brothers, Buford, Oliver, and Herbert Torrance.
Survivors include her sister Beulah Torrance Patisaul Browne, nieces, Miriam Holler, Emily Galloway, Edna Lynn Levernier, Alicia Ann Berry, and Donna Jones, nephews Richard Patisaul, Kevin Torrance and David Torrance, brother-in-law William Dixon (Edna), and numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 until the funeral hour at Moores Funeral Home.
