Warner Robins, GA- Mr. Cobert Dean Wilson, 77, passed away on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 at his home. Visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11th, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow immediately after visitation. Interment will be in Andersonville National Cemetery.
Dean was born on May 10th, 1935 to the late Mr. Fred Estes and Mrs. Zerry Ozell (Huddleston) Wilson in Walterhill, TN. Dean was predeceased by a brother Bill Wilson. Dean was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and he was of the protestant faith. Dean was a retired machinist where he worked for thirty-three and a half years. Dean was a member of the National Society of Sons of the American Revolution and he was the first event coordinator at the Georgia National Fairgrounds.
Dean is survived by his wife Ann Wilson of Warner Robins, and daughters; Deanna (Mark) Thompson of Hewitt, TX, Denese (Mike) Abbott, Danis (Tommy) Dixon both of Warner Robins, GA, Brothers, Homer (Dinah) Wilson of Hayden, AL, Robert (Frances) Wilson, sisters, Effie (Ronnie) Burd, Joyce (Troy) Key all of Lakeland, FL and Grandchildren Kally (Justin) Lapine of Kathleen, GA, LeeAnn (Kaleb) Turner of Watertown, NY, Kathryn Dixon of Hewitt, TX, Great Grandchildren Kaleb, Jr. and Avaley Turner all of Watertown, NY.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
