Edgar "Ed" C. Glore

Macon, GA- Edgar "Ed" C. Glore, 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at First Evangelical Church with the Rev. Jason Blankenship officiating. The family will meet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Evangelical Church, 3601 Fulton Mill Road, Macon GA 31216.
Mr. Glore was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Jerome C. and Olive Raby Glore. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Selma Perry Glore and his son, Donald Cecil Glore and a brother and sister. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Glore was retired from the Cabinet Shop after twenty years of service. He attended First Evangelical Church.
He is survived by his wife of thirty four years, Betty P. Glore of Macon, daughter, Peggy (Frank) Mathews of Macon, daughter-in-law, Sheryl Glore of Melbourne, FL, four grandchildren, Mark (Rhonda) Mathews of Marietta, GA, Drake (Tanya) Mathews of Bryon, Jason (Misty) Glore of Herbert, NC, and Christina Glore of Orlando, FL, seven great grandchildren, brothers, Allen (Catherine) Glore of Byron, Arthur (Flo) Glore of Milledgeville, Keith (Donna) Glore of McDonough, sisters, Helen Moore of Macon, Mary Jo Todd of TN, and Connie Glore of AZ and several nieces and nephews.
