Macon, GA- Zelma Wilbanks, 95, passed away Tuesday, September 03, 2013 at Bolingreen Nursing and Rehab Facility. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Jerry Brown and Mr. Oliver Partain will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. While flowers are accepted, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the

Mrs. Wilbanks, wife of the late John Baldwin Wilbanks, was born in Ashburn the daughter of the late Joe L. and Alice Davis Wiggins. Educated in Tift County Schools, she was a devoted homemaker, was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Wilbanks was the mother of the late Gordon Wilbanks and Jimmy Wilbanks.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay (Jerry) Brown of Villa Rica and Fay (Tommy) Warren of Macon; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her brother, Jerry Wiggins of Chula; her sisters, Wilma Townsend of Winter Haven, FL and Polly Tuttle of Blairsville and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wilbanks' family wishes to express their most heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Bolingreen for their loving and compassionate care shown to her and to us during these years. We will always be grateful.
