Lucile Renfroe Taylor

Perry, GA- Lucile Renfroe Taylor, 100, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 29, 2013. Graveside services will be on Sunday December 1, 2013, in the Bonaire Cemetery. Dr. Jim Perdue will officiate.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Wellston, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents John King Renfroe and Elizabeth Lizzie (Perdue) Renfroe, her husband Henry Gene Taylor and her sister Lois Renfore Smith. Upon receiving her B.S. degree in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, she furthered her education at Emory University and Tulane University. She worked 26 years with the federal government and she worked a number of years as a public health nurse. Mrs. Taylor was the former Director of Nursing in New Orleans for the United States Public Health Hospital Services. She was the former President of the Industrial Nursing Association.
Survivors include her first cousin, Mrs. Elizabeth Talton of Kathleen, cousin-in-law, Mrs. Gervaise Perdue of Macon and several other cousins in the Perdue and Talton families.

Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
