Robert Aaron "Daddy Bob" Clark
January 4, 1943 - December 10, 2013
Lizella, GA- Robert A. "Daddy Bob" Clark, age 70, passed away on December 10, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born in Montgomery, AL to the late Lloyd Basil Clark and the late Marjorie McElrath Clark. He was a retired truck driver for Keen Transport and a veteran of the United States Navy where he was a Navy Seal. At one time he truly loved to fish and go on vacation in the family RV but his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were his life.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years Colleen B. Clark; 7 children, Patti Lane Dyer (John) of Warner Robins, Karen Lane Green (Eddie) of Lizella, Mary Ann Lane of Lizella, Keith Clark (Ellen) of Forsyth, Jim Lane (Sandra) of Bonaire, Kelly Clark Harris (Gabe) of Forsyth, and Kenneth Clark (Kelly) of High Falls; 18 grandchildren, Kacie Davis (Randy), Michelle Baker, John McCoy III (Nikki), Erin Bailey, Mary Beth McCoy, Elise Green, Rachel Clark, Reece Clark, Michael Lane (Kristian), Travis Lane, Anna Lane, Sarah Beth Lane, Kyle Millwood, Kristen Daniel, Kellyn Odom (Matt), Ashley Archer, Courtney Archer, and Gavin Harris; 11 great grandchildren, and a brother, Neil Clark (Beth) of Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by a grandson Kell Clark and his step-mother Leila Clark.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. A service to celebrate "Daddy Bob's" life will be held on Thursday, December 12, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville at 2:30 pm. His son Pastor Jim Lane and Pastor Lee Griffin will be officiating.
