Freda Hobby Wilson
February 11, 1926 - January 12, 2014
Gray, GA- Mrs. Freda Hobby Wilson, 87, died Sunday morning, January 12, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, at 3 o'clock, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Shannon Back will officiate. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 o'clock until service time on Wednesday.
Mrs. Wilson, daughter of the late James Glenn and Ollie Lee Taylor Hobby, was born in Miami, Florida. She moved to Macon and attended Miller High School for Girls. Mrs. Wilson retired from Robins Air Force Base's civil service, working in electronics. She was a long term member of Lizella Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Holmes Wilson, Jr., a sister, Margie Frost; and a brother, James Glenn Hobby, Jr.
Surviving Mrs. Wilson are her daughter, Betty (Tony) Bates; son, Jack Holmes (Elizabeth) Wilson, III; daughters, Sheila (Richard) Zebell, Margie (Allen) Zebell; son, Robert (Phyliss) Wilson; sisters, Ida (Ronnie) Cone, Elaine Arias; brother, Duke (Janet) Hobby; sister in law, Ann Hobby; 14 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren; and 11 Great Great Grandchildren.
