May 13, 1937 - January 18, 2014
CENTERVILLE, GA- Harry Elbert Webb, 76, entered into rest on Saturday, January 18, 2014.
Harry was born on May 13, 1937 in Macon Georgia to the late Hoyt Elbert Webb, Sr. and Gerolyn White. With courage and commitment, MSgt Webb served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after over twenty years of dedicated service. Subsequent to his military retirement, he retired from Robins Air Force Base, where he worked in civil service as an aircraft mechanic. Harry was a very loving and generous man and will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog football fan, enjoyed reading, and adored his dog, Shadow. In addition to his parents, his wife of forty-eight years, Kikue "Hitomi" Webb; and step brother, Raymond L. Moody; all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his grandson, Kyle Webb Elliott, of Odenton, Maryland; sisters, Charlene Cooper (Tim), Lizella; Maxine Batcha (Jay), Macon; Paulette Brown, Apache, Oklahoma; brother, Hoyt E. Webb, Jr., Warner Robins; and his beloved dog, Shadow.
Services will be March 8th at 2:00 pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Macon for family and friends to celebrate and honor Harry's life and memory. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, an hour before service, also at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be given to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3715 Northside Parkway Bldg. 400, Atlanta, Georgia 30327.
