Macon , GA- Shirley Pullen Schlottman, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Riverside Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the , Breast Cancer, 277 MLK Jr., Blvd W. Suite 101, Macon GA 31201.
Shirley was born in Vicksburg, MS on May 8, 1935 to Thomas and Dora Pullen. She was a spirit that danced into our lives. In high school she was selected as ballerina to dance in the Horace Heidt dance troupe and subsequently attended the University of Mississippi. Shirley was an artistic, intelligent, athletic lady. She was the most fun loving beautiful mother and friend, the best cook in the world and she will be remembered with her smiles and laughter. She also was a champion golfer, member of the Idle Hour Women's Golf Association for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, George Clinton (Rusty) Schlottman and her niece, Paige Pullen Devine.
She is survived by her children; Kristy Schlottman Burkhalter (John), Robert Schlottman and Gretchen Schlottman; her brother, Robert Pullen and his wife Joan; grandchildren; Shannon Burkhalter Phillips, Clint Burkhalter, Sarah Burkhalter and Lauren and Emily Schlottman, niece; Kelly Pullen Kraus, nephew; Len Pullen and great grandchildren whom she adored; Noah, Jacob, Abby and Drew.
