Easton Jedediah Goad, the one year old son of Jed and Leslie Holland Goad of Red Boiling Springs, passed away Sunday evening, March 1, 2015 at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, OH after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Funeral services for Easton Jedediah Goad were conducted Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Brother Joel Chappell Jr. officiating. Interment followed in the Jenkins Family Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers were Jared Goad, Michael Holland, Matt Dyer, Dalis Holliman, Hayden Holliman and Wesley Tobitt. Active Pallbearers were David Flynn, Andy Goad, Todd Ryan and Chandler Hudson. Easton Jedediah Goad was born in Wilson County, Tennessee on Friday, December 27, 2013. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayne Holland and maternal great-grandfather, James Holland. Easton Jedediah was everybody's super hero. Even though his time here on earth was very short, he was a precious gift from God and his memory will live forever in our hearts. Survivors besides his parents, Jed andLeslie Holland Goad includes: sister, Emma Faye Goad, maternal grandmother, Lisa Holland, maternal great-grandmother, Faye Holland, maternal great grandparents, Fay and Ann Hall, all of Red Boiling Springs, great-great aunt, Fran Belt of Hendersonville, paternal grandparents, Mark and Jessie Ruth Goad of Dean Hill Community, paternal great-grandmother, Linda Goad of Red Boiling Springs, paternal great-grandfather, Kenneth Goad of Gamaliel, KY, paternal great-grandparents, Mack and Dot Holliman of Dean Hill Community, paternal uncle and aunt, Jared and Erica Goad of Oakland, TN . Ralph Leland Evetts was born October 26, 1943 in Smith County, TN, to the late James Carsie Evetts and Mabel Lankford Evetts. He was one of five siblings. On February 2, 1963, Ralph married the love of his life, Linda Gail Trammel. They shared fifty-two wonderful years together and had two sons, Geoff and Chris. Ralph owned and operator Evetts Precision Tool. He was a journeyman Tool & Die maker and was a dedicated professional. He remained in the Tool & Die Industry from 1964 until he retired in 2002. Ralph spent most of his free time, fishing and hunting. Spending time in Florida; Ralph and Gail did a lot of fishing. Whether on their boats or on the river bank they had a great time just being together. "Family Man" is what you could call Ralph, his love for his family ran deep. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren especially held a special place in his heart. Ralph was saved as a young boy at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his Lord, and was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in White House, Tennessee. He was a Mason and had a 32nd Scottish Rite Degree and a member of the Lafayette Masonic Lodge # 543. On February 27, 2015, at the age of 71, the Lord called Ralph to his Heavenly Home. He has left many wonderful memories down here for us to treasure, but our loss is Heaven's Gain. Ralph is survived by; Wife, Gail Evetts, Sons; Geoff Evetts and Chris (Penny) Evetts, Grandchildren; Ryan (Bridget) Evetts, Sean (Jessica) Evetts, Courtney (Corey) Kemp, Candice (Sammy Light) Evetts, Madison Evetts, Great-Grandkids; Garrett, Colin, Jensen, Lila, Chloe, and Gracie, Sisters; Evelyn (Richard) Freeman, Jayne McDonald and Linda Bilbrey, Brother, Jim Evetts, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and Special Friend; Bill Shear. Funeal services for Ralph Leland Evetts were conducted Sunday March 1, 2015 from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Eddie Gregory officiating.
