ERMA JEAN BOBO
MT. STERLING — Erma Jean Bobo, 82, born March 4, 1931, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at her residence.
Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Bobo Sr.; parents, Elmer and Edna Hurles; and son, Donald Jordan.
Survived by brother, Elmer (Bev) Hurles Jr.; daughter, Nancy (Ron) Reese; sons, Gary (Rachel) Jordan, Thomas (Rosemary) Bobo Jr. and Jesse (Trudy) Bobo; grandsons, Scott Gammell, Kyle Bobo, Jason Reese, Gary Jordan and Thomas Bobo; granddaughters, Rhonda Purtee, Belinda Snyder and Joannie Morrish; numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren; cousin and lifetime friend, Mary Oswalt.
She is also survived by many special people who surrounded her often and referred to her as "Maw." She was a mother and grandmother to many kids who lived at Madison Lake.
The family would also like to express their gratefulness to her caregiver for the past 2 years whom made it possible for her to live at home, Jan Potter as well as Sam Goorey who also watched over her.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 331 W. Main St., in Mt. Sterling. Cremation will follow the service.
