WILSON, PAUL (BUD) - South Charleston  
SPRINGFIELD - Paul (Bud) Wilson, 79, of South Charleston, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 in Villa Springfield following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 28, 1936 in South Vienna, the son of Paul W. and Marcelyn E. (Jones) Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Plattsburg United Church of Christ and was a graduate of Northeastern High School class of 1954. He led a very active life having been a Harmony Township Trustee, a member of the Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Department, a board member of the Clark County Soil and Water Conservation Board and had served in the Air National Guard. Paul's greatest love was his lifelong work as a farmer. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 1/2 years, Patricia (Combs) Wilson; two daughters, Diane (Randy) Crisp of London and Brenda Wilson of South Charleston; two grandchildren, Abigail (Aaron) Dunham and Ryan (Christine Cline) Crisp; triplet great-grandchildren, Natalie, Julia and Hannah Dunham; two sisters, Ruth (Dan) Burke of San Antonio, Texas and Janet (Dennis) DeBlaay of North Olmstead, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Wilson; a sister, Doris Rutherford; and his parents. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Plattsburg United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the church with Pastor Curt Minor officiating. Private interment will be in Somerford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Plattsburg United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 699, South Charleston, OH 45368 or to the Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 212, South Vienna, OH 45369. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 1002 E. High St., Springfield.
