Forrest Elza Penwell(Aug. 20, 1952 - March 24, 2014)

LONDON - Forrest Elza Penwell, 61, of London, died Monday afternoon, March 24, 2014, in his home.
He was born in Columbus on Aug. 20, 1952, a son of Elza (Whitie) Ellsworth and Margaret (Maggie) Anita (Gorman) Penwell.
He retired from Creamer Metal Products, was an electrician and musician in several bands for over 40 years, including managing his own band "Kounty Line Kountry."
Forrest is survived by his wife, Bennie J. (Slagle) Penwell; son, Nicholas E. Penwell of South Charleston; brothers, Frank T. Penwell of Xenia, Gorman E. Penwell of London; granddaughter, Makenzie E. Penwell of Springfield; stepdaughter, Debra L. Newman of Columbus; stepson, Adam W. Sherrick of Whitehall; 7 stepgrandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren; a nephew and numerous friends.
He is preceded by his parents.
The family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 124 E. High St., London, from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, where a celebration of Forrest's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014, with Rev. Jeff Harlan officiating. Interment in Paint Township Cemetery.
