Howard William Tucker(Sept. 23, 1937 - April 6, 2014)

MT. STERLING - Howard William Tucker, born Sept. 23, 1937, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
Born in Columbus, Ohio to Ted and Opal Tucker.
He was a retired firefighter from the city of Columbus. A Navy veteran. He was an avid clogger for Teays River Cloggers.
He enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors and bluegrass music.
Survived by his wife, Shelby of 58 years; daughter, Cindy Donohoe (special friend Stuart MacLeod; son, Kelly Tucker (Barb Tucker); grandsons, Ryan Donohoe (Heather Mets), Josh Maynard (Hannah Maynard); great-grandchildren, Carter and Lillian Maynard; cousin, Bill Tucker of Pa.; cousin, Margie Derr of Logan.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. John Colburn officiating with the interment following in Muhlenberg Township Cemetery in Darbyville. A military service will be performed by the Circleville Amvets Post No. 2256 for the Navy veteran. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10.
