Michelle L. (Eades) Walker, 46, of Sunbury, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 29, 2013.
She was born Feb. 12, 1967, in Springfield, Ohio.
Michelle was a 1985 graduate of London High School where she was a member of the band's Rifle Corp and the track team. She earned her Associates Degree from Columbus State Community College and went on to work as an interpreter and administrative assistant for 22 years for the Ohio School for the Deaf Alumni Association.
She came to Sunbury in 2000 from Columbus and was a member of Sunbury United Methodist Church.
As a young mother, Michelle was active in tap dancing. She volunteered annually for at the Columbus Colony Fall Festival and loved to attend every one of her children's sports events. Always giving of herself, she would do everything she could to help anyone in need. She will be remembered as a wonderful, loving mother and daughter.
Those left to cherish Michelle's memory are her daughters, Veronica "Roni" Walker; Alexandria "Allie" Walker; mother, Shirley Eades; the father of her children, Shawn Walker, all of Sunbury; fiancé, Jerry Tomlinson of Delaware and his sons, Jermy, Jordan, Jesse; cousins, Brian and Michelle; her four-legged friend, Gunner; as well as many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Eades.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the DEVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 637 state Route 61 (state Route 3 at state Route 61), Sunbury, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013. Pastor Brian Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery in London, Ohio.
Memorial contributions in Michelle's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, or to any charity close to your heart.
