MILDRED JEAN MORRIS
WEST JEFFERSON - Mildred Jean Morris, 75, of Lilly Chapel, died from complications of a stroke on Sunday, March 9, 2014.
Born on Oct. 17, 1938, she was the daughter of Chester and Myrtus (Hicks) McCabe of Clarksburg.
Morris was retired from Automobile Club Insurance Company, Columbus, and worked at H&R Block in Columbus and Walmart in London.
Morris was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Ned Renick Morris; her brother, Ward McCabe; and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Morris of Lilly Chapel and Gerald "Gary" Morris of Evansville, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, MT Hallock Morris and two grandchildren, Hope and Logan of Evansville, Ind.; three sisters, Glenna Walker of London, Mary Ann Elliot of Portsmouth, R.I., and Faye Hensley of Delbarton, W.Va.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.?Visitation will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. with a graveside service to be held at 2 p.m. at Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery, 1819 Hitler Road 1, Circleville.
