Wilgus N. "Tony" Rafferty, 68, of London, died at 3:33 a.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Madison County Hospital.
Born Dec. 28, 1944, he was a son of James and Eva (Harrington) Rafferty.
Tony was employed for 28 years by Fisher Cast Steel in West Jefferson and for 5 years by Liberty Castings in Delaware.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Burton); daughters, Heidi (Richard) Lowery of London, and Heather Wells of Cardington, Ohio; sons, Aaron (Joanna) Rafferty of West Jefferson and Azel Rafferty (Tami Ramsey) of Hilliard; daughter, Amanda Fisher of London; grandchildren, Justin Wells, Jessie Wells, Misti Jones, Jeremiah Jones, Mason Poland, Hunter Rafferty, Darine Fisher, and Jeffrey Artis; great-grandchildren, Jenesis Robertson, Mykea Robertson, Alexis Wells, Brianna Wells, and Adilynn Truax; brothers, Bruce Rafferty of London, Ed (Debbie) Rafferty of Sidney, Ohio, and Wayne (Paula) Rafferty of Plumwood; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Alice Lemaster, Beatrice Kimbler, and Joan Brown; and a brother, James Rafferty.
According to his personal request, Tony will be cremated and visitation and services will not be observed.
