Annalee Belt, 70, of Orient, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Mount Carmel West (ER).
She was born Feb. 8, 1942, the daughter of the late Ray Forrest Fry and Evelyn (Whiteside).
Annalee was a retired Middle School Teacher of the Teays Valley School District.
She attended Harrisburg United Methodist Church.
She loved reading, sewing, flower gardening, and playing cards with her friends and family.
She is survived by husband, Joe Belt; sons, James B. (Jen) Belt of Columbus, Thaddeus A. (Paula) Belt of Grove City; three grandchildren, Sydney Belt, Stevie Jo Belt, and Anna Belt; mother-in-law, Ella May Belt of Washington Court House.
A Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. Rev. Edwin Martin will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday. In keeping with her wishes, cremation was requested.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions to Harrisburg United Methodist Church.
