Beverly Ann Myers, 77, departed this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
She was cared for and made comfortable by Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio, and was surrounded by loved ones in her final days.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Donald L. Myers; and brother, Thomas Toadvine.
Born Feb. 1, 1936, in Springfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edna (Everhart) and Charles Toadvine.
Bev is survived by daughter, Cindy (Tim) McCann of Oak Harbor; sons, Greg Myers, Andy (Amy) Myers of Plain City, Ohio and Brian (Angel) Myers of Oak Harbor; sisters, Barbara Slygh, Betsy (Charles) Baker, Bonnie Newcomb, Brenda Leonard, Betty Hough and Beck (John) Cooke; brothers, James (Donna) Toadvine, Charles Toadvine, Steven Toadvine, David (Dottie) Toadvine; grandchildren, Amber (John) Riley, Lacy Cave, Travis (Jana) Myers, Cory (Christine) Myers, Muranda Myers, Codey Myers, Dylan Myers, Brittany Myers, Drew Myers, Matt Myers, Colt Hastings, Dalton Myers, Christian Myers; six great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bev worked for many years at London Industries, where she was honored with awards, and was also employed at the Madison Press earlier in her career.
Bev's spunky spirit, sense of humor and love of a good sale are attributes that will be fondly remembered.
Bev's family wishes to give special thanks to Stein Hospice and the wonderful staff who were so attentive and accommodating.
Services will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, 830 N. Limestone St., Springfield, Ohio. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, at Deercreek Township Cemetery, 1255 U.S. Route 40 SE, London, Ohio.
