Bruce A. Cantrell, 55, of West Jefferson, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in his residence.
He was born July 30, 1957, in Marysville, Ohio, the son of the late Marvin Cantrell and Marcella (Barker Wallace).
Bruce was an U.S. Army Veteran; a past employee of Wagner Electric of Hilliard and Fisher Cast Steel of West Jefferson.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters, Melissa, Megan, and Mallory Cantrell; three grandchildren, Austin, Skyla and Imigine; brother, Rick (Anna); sister, Saundra (Jimmy) Thacker; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; a special friend, Sandy Crispin.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James Marvin Cantrell.
It was Bruce's wish to be cremated. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, where Memorial and Military Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Military Honors by the West Jefferson VFW and American Legion.
Lunch to follow at the Plain City VFW.
