C. Edward Flannery, 89, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013.
Ed was born March 7, 1924, in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He had been a long time resident of West Jefferson, Ohio before moving to Fort Myers six years ago.
Ed is preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Opal; and by his parents, Cecil and Ruby Flannery.
Ed is survived by his sister, Ruth Miller (the late Weldon); three children, Marlin (Jennie Jo) Flannery, Sherry Flannery and Debbie Flannery; one grandson, Todd Flannery; two great-granddaughters, Addison and Ava; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private funeral service will be held at HODGES FUNERAL HOME AT LEE MEMORIAL PARK, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913. Interment will be in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
