Gladys L. Campbell, 90, of Lafayette, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 5:30 a.m. in her residence.
Born Aug. 9, 1922, in Deercreek Township, she was a daughter of Harley C. and Edythe M. (Miller) Campbell.
A lifelong member of the Lafayette Methodist Church.
Gladys was a graduate of London High School and was also a member of the Madison County Senior Center.
She retired from the Medical Records Department at Madison County Hospital.
She is survived by a niece, Tami Trein of South Carolina and Jan Swearinger of Westerville; dear friends, Nelson C. Koehler of Cincinnati, Joe and Elsie Slagle and Bob and Lisa Higgins of London, Joy Draime of Tremont City; special caregivers, Roxanne Bennett, Janet White, Linda Lewis and Reba Norris.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen (Richard) Slagle and Edna Harbage.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, in the Lafayette United Methodist Church. Pastor Carolyn Peacock will be officiating. Interment will follow in Deercreek Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from noon until time of services Wednesday.
