Gladys Marie Robinson, born Jan. 4, 1932, crossed over peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary; her husband, Robert Owen; daughter, Stacy Bronwyn; sister, Shirley; and brothers, Johnny and Theodore.
Survived by daughters, Gisela (David) Bowlds, Triva (Brian) Schrader; grandchildren, Kristopher (Brenda) Robinson, Brian (Jackie) Layman, Paul (Ginny) Layman, Ken (Jackie) Bullock, Erin (Brad) Doss and Leslie Marie Schrader (Will Hughes); great-grandchildren, Seth, Ryan, Tyler, Briana, Kaleigh, Eli, Shelby, Owen, Ainsley Olivia and Hudson; sisters, Lois Miller, Ada Tucker, Kim Meredith, Virginia Taylor, Lora Bowling, Stacy Parnell and her true heart Bettye (Mary E.) McCormick; brothers, Phillip Huff and Willis (Sonny) Huff; she also leaves many nieces, nephews; and her beloved dog Allie.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She worked hard all of her life, retiring from General Electric and the Owensboro Mercy Healthcare System.
Above all else, she was an artist. She painted, using watercolors, until the ability was taken from her by Alzheimer's.
Private services will be held at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, Ohio, on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
