Goldie Virginia Dingus, 82, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at her residence.
She was born April 7, 1931 in Piketon, Ohio.
Goldie was a member of the Waterloo Church of Christ and Christian Union.
Preceded in death by parents, Alice McCoy and Fred Dingus; seven siblings; three children, Steven, Melvin, and Peggy.
She is survived by loving husband of 66 years, Carl Dingus Sr.; siblings, Tom (Donna) Dingus and Mabel Ford; nine children, Virginia (Larry) Williams of Washington Court House, Jerry (Joyce) Dingus of London, Ted Dingus of London, Marianne (Ray) Gilbert of New Holland, Sam Dingus of Florida, Nancy (Larry) Cline of Mt. Sterling, Tim (Angie) Dingus of Orient, Judith Smoot of Mt. Sterling, Carl (Kelli) Dingus Jr. of Taiwan R.O.C.; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special family members, Roger Armentrout, Patty Gartin, and Terri Brown.
A Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. The interment will follow in Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, the 24.
