James W. "Jim" Rogers, 68, of Sedalia, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, 2:28 a.m. at the Madison County Hospital.
Jim was born Nov. 17, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of James Willis and Virginia Anne (Ebright) Rogers.
He served as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He had been employed with the Ohio Secretary of State's office for more than 15 years.
Survivors include a brother and a sister; special friends, Paula and Jerry Dill, Josh and Lindey, Jason and Courtney, and Jake.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Thursday, from 4-7 PM. at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION, 124 E. High St., London, OH 43140. According to Jim's wishes cremation will then follow and a interment service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the American Lung Association, 1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, OH 43228. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
