Jeanne S. Kelleher, 80, of London, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, 7:30 p.m. at the Madison Senior Living Community, London.
Jeanne was born April 11, 1933 in London, Ohio, the daughter of Jerry and Marie (Keble) Sullivan.
At the age of 18 she moved to Florida where she made a life for herself working for Varig Airline. While there she met and then married her husband Bill in 1977. After retiring they moved to London where she volunteered at the hospital, the library, and the Historical Society. Her love of genealogy took her all over the world as she researched her families' roots. She also was a member of Saint Patrick Church, London.
She is survived by her brother: Dr. Jack Sullivan of South Charleston; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; special friends, the Ya-Ya sisters; and her most faithful canine companion, Lulu.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Anita Junk, Dorothy Madden, and Mary Alice Powers.
Jeanne's family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Madison Senior Living Community for the wonderful care she received.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Saint Patrick Church. Father Mark Ghiloni will be officiating. Interment will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at Saint Patrick Parish Center for one hour prior to the start of the mass.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Jeanne's memory to the Humane Society of Madison County, 2020 State Route 142 N.E., West Jefferson, OH 43162.
Jeanne's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 124 E. High St., London.
