Jeannette Koons, 56, of London, died Friday, June 14, 2013, 2:28 a.m. at the Kobacker House, Columbus.
She was born Feb. 20, 1957 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Richard Edwin and Dorothea (Miller) Smith.
Jeannette loved to work in her garden taking care of her flowers. She loved to sew and always seemed to be taking care of someone.
She is survived by husband, Rodney Koons, whom she married Dec. 24, 1994; children, Jon (Mistie) Warnock of London, Shaunacy (Matthew) Ross of Vanlue, Ohio, Christapher Henry of Springfield; sisters, Linda (Leonard) Kadel of Springfield, Charlene (Ronald) Windle of South Vienna, Janet (Jim) Lannon of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; many dear friends.
Jeannette was preceded in death by parents; grandson, Delmar Henry.
Friends are invited to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 124 E. High St., London, from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 17. A graveside life celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Kirkwood Cemetery, London. The Reverend Dick Johnson will be officiating. Interment will follow.
