Margaret "Peg" Wood (Brown), 85, of London, died at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in the Madison Senior Living Community.
Born June 3, 1928 in Madison County, she was a daughter of Ernest Leo and Lucile (Dewey) Sollars.
A member of the First United Methodist Church of London, she was also a member of the London Eastern Star Lodge. She was a member and past Matron of the former Nellie Counts Eastern Star Lodge.
Survivors are daughters, Margie (Joe) Deck of Waverly, Mary Kay (Jim) McBride of London, Sherry Sharrett of Columbus and Janet (Bill) Jones of London; grandchildren, Tom (Courtney) Deck of Westerville, Joe (Corrin) Deck of Columbus, Donnie Sharrett II of California, Dan Sharrett of Mt. Sterling, and Nathan (Natalie) Dorn of London; great-grandchildren, Thurston and Derek Deck, and Jozie and Rider Dorn; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Sollars of Madison Mills; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Earl D. Brown, and Gene Wood;
grandson, Andrew Deck; and a brother, Sonny Sollars.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the First United Methodist Church of London. Rev. Steve Rodgers will be officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., in London, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 26.
