Mark Willis McClelland, 66, of London, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 in his residence.
Mark was born April 27, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of Kenneth Burnell and Rosemary (Dehmann) McClelland.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mt. Sterling.
Graduated from Mt. Sterling High School in 1965.
He retired from the London Fire Department as a lieutenant and also from Ohio Willow Wood after 39 years of service.
Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy McClelland; children, Melissa, Michael, and Adam McClelland, all of London; brothers, Tim (Judy) McClelland of Huber Heights, Jon (Sue) McClelland of London, Scott (Debbie) McClelland of Mt. Sterling; aunt and uncle, Robert and Donna Jean McClelland of McArthur, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
According to Mark's wishes he will be cremated.
Mark's family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 124 E. High St., London, from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, to help celebrate Mark's life.
His family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Madison County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
