LONDON - Marta Ruth McGraw, 59, of London, died Thursday evening, Nov. 21, 2013 in the Kobacker House, Columbus.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio, to Eldon J. and Mary (Siniff) Edwards.
Ruth was a loving daughter, sister and selfless and compassionate caregiver to her mom.
She retired from Staples.
She was a member and assistant Social Room manager at the Moose on Main, Lodge No. 2696, the London Aerie No. 950 F.O.E. Auxiliary, Madison Memorial Post No. 105 American Legion Auxiliary, Post No. 19 AMVETS and the V.F.W. Post No. 7005 West Jefferson.
Ruth is survived by her mother, Mary Turvy of London; sisters, Cheryl (Allen) Webb of London, Mary Haynes of Circleville; brothers, Bart (Pam) Edwards of Mt. Sterling, Butch Jenkins of Virginia; several nieces and nephews; stepdaughters, Tammy and Sue.
She is preceded in death by her father; husband, Harold "Jim" McGraw in 2009; and stepsister, Vickie Roberts.
The family invites friends to call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, 124 E. High St., London, on Monday, Nov. 25 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a celebration of Ruth's life will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery with Rev. Dwain Hill officiating.
