PLAIN CITY - Marvin Napier, 62, of Plain City, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, April 14, 2014 at his residence.
Born Aug. 13, 1951 in Sabina, Ohio.
He retired from Ross Labs in 1992, Plain City Police Officer in the '70s and '80s, youth baseball coach for the Plain City Little League 1981-1986. Marvin was owner of Columbus Bail Bonds since 1987. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and avid OSU football fan.
Preceded in death by father, William J. Napier in 2001.
Survived by sons, Shawn (Alice) Napier of Florida and Christopher Napier of Columbus; grandchildren, Bianca, Brady, Maddison, Hayden and Colin; mother, Wanda (Gillispie) Napier; brother, Roy (Peggy) Napier; sisters, Kathy (Jerry) May and Katherine (Junior) Smith.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 17 at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, with Pastor Bill Webb officiating and burial at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City.
